Following a severe storm, this service includes a detailed map of a city or region that indicates two highlighted storm paths. One path highlights hail estimated between .75" and 1.75". The second path details where hail was estimated at over 2.00". The verified hail reports are also indicated on the map.

The hail path estimates are prepared using a complex algorithm that is applied to the Doppler radar data as the storm moves through the region. The HailTrax map includes two views of the storm tracks. One blown up view that covers 100 miles across and another zoomed in view that covers a 15 mile distance. Large poster-sized maps, which are used for courtroom viewing, can be provided for an additional fee. This service is also available on a daily basis for specific states.
